Weather Cancellation Policy
Asperger’s Support Group (Age 18+)
The Asperger’s Support Group is a group for parents, family members, caregivers, and adults on the autism spectrum to discuss Asperger’s-related issues. On nights where the group dynamics warrant, the group splits into a “children-focused” and an “adult-focused” discussion.
When: meets the third Thursday of every month from 6:30-8:30pm
Where: Rockrimmon Library Meeting Room

Note: The Rockrimmon Library can be a bit difficult to find. The Rockrimmon Library is located in the Safeway Village Shopping Center at the intersection of S. Rockrimmon Blvd. and Vindicator Drive. You can enter the shopping center from either Rockrimmon Blvd. or Vindicator Drive. Village Center Drive (the street address of the library) starts and ends in the shopping center parking lot. The library is located at the far west end of the shopping center, to the south of Safeway. **Participants must be able to provide their own transportation**

Autistic Adult Social Group (Age 18+)
The Autistic Adult Social Group is a group designed for adults on the autism spectrum. The group provides a safe, supportive environment where those on the autism spectrum can make friends and explore common interests with others on the spectrum. Participants are encouraged to bring light snacks and a game they would like to play with the group.
When: meets the last (not fourth) Monday of every month from 7:00-8:30pm

Note: This group has a few general guidelines. As adult conversation occurs, attendees must be
age 18+. Attendees must want to attend – we cannot accommodate individuals who do not want to interact. This group is also only for those on the spectrum – we have found over and over that it simply works best this way. If needed, the library makes a great “hover zone” for caregivers. We understand the apprehension some individuals on the spectrum feel about new environments, and will take every step to help newcomers feel comfortable (including meeting beforehand, phone discussions, etc.). **Participants must be able to provide their own transportation**

Dad’s Night Out (Age 18+) – Currently on hold
Join us for our bi-monthly Dad’s Night Out! Meeting in Feb., April, June, August, Oct., and December. Meet other dads of kids on the autism spectrum, share some laughs, find support, and leave re-energized. This group will talk about mature subjects therefore, we ask that you not bring children.

Family Support & Social Group
The Family Support & Social Group is designed for families with children on the spectrum to meet other families, find support, have fun, and make new friends! The meetings are open to families with kids of all ages, but the activities are geared towards kids ages 5-12. While the kids play, the parents will have space to mingle as well. Please bring a game or activity (board game, legos, snap-circuits, etc.) your child would like to share with friends. Siblings are welcome!

HOTS – Homeschooling On The Spectrum for Parents
Homeschooling on the Spectrum is a support group for parents of autistic kids who want to share ideas, meet for support, and create a community. Please come meet with us if you are currently homeschooling your kiddos, or are thinking about homeschooling your kiddos. This meeting is for parents only, moms and dads, however infants needing mommies are welcome.
When: the 4th Thursday in the months of June, October, and March from 5:30-6:30pm.

Mom’s Morning Out (Age 18+)
Join us for our monthly Mom’s Morning Out! Meet other moms of kids on the autism spectrum, share some laughs, find support, and leave re-energized. Children are welcome to join.

MNO – Mom’s Night Out (Age 18+)
Join us for our monthly Mom’s Night Out! Meet other moms of kids on the autism spectrum, share some laughs, find support, and leave re-energized. This group will talk about mature subjects therefore, we ask that you not bring children. Nursing babies are welcome.
When: meets the fourth Thursday of every month from 6:30-9:00pm (except for Nov/Dec when the fourth Thursday is a holiday – this meeting will be held on a different night during those months; please check the events calendar or contact us at the email address below to confirm the date).

Southside Mom’s Night Out (Age 18+)

Teen Social Group (Ages 13-17)

Tween Social Group (Ages 8-12)
The Tween Social is a social group designed for tweens age 8-12 to meet other tweens on the autism spectrum and have fun! Participants are encouraged to bring light snacks and a game they would like to play with friends. Other activities may be added throughout the month.

Women on the Spectrum Social and Support Group (Age 18+)
This group is designed for women on the spectrum. The group provides a safe, supportive environment where women on the autism spectrum can make friends, share similar life challenges, and find support. Participants are encouraged to bring light snacks and a game they would like to share. Workplace Skills Group (Ages 16+)
Announcement: this group is available upon request and commitment to attendance.
The Workplace Skills Group is designed to help teens/adults (age 16+) on the spectrum develop and enhance skills that will enable them to be successful in the workplace. The moderators of this group are adults who have worked in a number of different fields and positions.
Participants must want to attend, be willing to practice as we go along, and have a basic understanding of how to exchange information.

Young Adult Artist Support Group (Ages 17-30)
Come meet other like minded artists to draw and share your art with. We will meet monthly to draw, and create with each other. This includes those that enjoy creating animation.
When: meets the last Saturday of the month from 10:30am – 12:00pm.
*November’s meeting will be on the 3rd Saturday. No group meeting for December.

YAC – Young Adult Coffee Support Group (Age 18+)
The Young Adult Coffee (YAC) group is designed for young adults on the autism spectrum. The group provides a safe, supportive environment for autistic young adults to make friends and explore common challenges, issues and current events with others on the spectrum.
